  Pad Thai mostly tasted a bit burnt, not many hints of sour, very mediocre compared to Thai Charm when it was still a Thai restaurant.
  
  Ginger beef was a bit tough and mostly chewy. Not great. Not the worst I've had.
  
  Fried rice was very 'meh'.
  
  Airdrie doesn't really have any fantastic chinese restaurants, but Silver Star is one of the poorer examples. I don't imagine I will return for another order, ever.
  
  Seem like I'll keep driving into Calgary to go to Fat Kee by Barlow or Ginger Beef in country hills.

  I expected better. The beef and broccoli tasted soggy. The chicken fried rice tasted burnt. Not just a little burnt tasting but I can't eat it it tastes so bad. Ginger beef was also tough to chew. On the plus side, spring rolls were good.

  I only rated this a 1 because there was no option to choose 0!! What an awful place to eat!! First time ordering from this restaurant and we ordered the Ginger Beef and Ginger chicken they were not fresh at all you could not cut nor chew it. The dry spare ribs were very tough again like they had been sitting there all day what a waste of $64.00!!! I would do your homework and read the reviews before spending your hard earned money here!!

  Totally and utterly disgusted by how my dinner was tonight.... The beef and broccoli was terrible, meat was raw and sauce tasted like gravy. My boyfriend and I gagged on the sweet and sour pork, too hard and food was pretty much cold when it arrived. The wonton soup has no taste whatsoever, unless you count water. The wontons are throw up worthy. I am so disappointed. What a waste of $40. I will never recommend this place to anyone at all. Rate of of 10 is 0!!!! Do not come here.
