  They are a very friendly restaurant and really try hard to service everyone well. I recommend this to anyone who likes good food! I would say that this is the only good restaurant in Airdrie.

  Ambiance and decor:FANTASTIC truly beautiful space!
  Staff: Decent, but definitely understaffed on the evening we were there
  Food: to put it as eloquently as possible, sub par. went with another couple a few weeks back now and we got 4 different appetizers 4 different main courses and every last one outside of the Kale ceasar salad (this was good) as underwhelming as the last.
  I feel like I am clearly missing something with all the rave reviews that brought me to this place to begin with as it certainly did not live up to the expectations.

  If you come in with the right expectation, you won't be disappointed. Hay Loft isn't your typical chain restaurant like Montana's, Earl's, White Spot, etc. This is fine food at its best, and mostly all locally sourced, too. The portions are smaller than you'd usually expect but the flavour and quality is second to none. The chef is amazing and really seems to take pleasure in what he does.

  A lovely space, friendly and attentive staff, downtown quality food and lots of free parking! I'm glad to have a high quality restaurant like this twenty minutes away instead of forty minutes away. These are not chain-restaurant style portions; the food is meant to be enjoyed in courses. I recommend the salted caramel doughnut. I was really too full to eat it but I finished it anyway. Also: afternoon tea is affordable at $20 a person and is delicious.

  Hands down, the best dining experience in Airdrie. The presentation and the different flavors of each dish compliment each other perfectly. An in-house baker makes all the pasta by hand and it is delicious. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the food. Will be recommending to friends and family (definitely worth the drive out from Calgary). Will be back again!
